Hi
Thanks for posting on HCM
Insulin injection site might get infected if necessary precautions are not taken when administering injections. What you describe sound like an infection on the site or just a skin reaction to repeated shots.I will suggest you see the Doctor to evaluate the spot and judge the need for antibiotics if any arguments in favor of an infection.I will suggest you take an anti-inflammatory like ibuprofen while you prepare to see the Doctor.I will suggest you see the Doctor as early as possible as the risk of the bruise growing larger is high given the fact that you are diabetic. You also need to have your blood glucose under control by taking your insulin doses well, respecting nutritional advice and regular fitness exercises.
Hope my answer will help you
Best regards
