Suggest Treatment For Bruise On The Knee In An Elderly Person
55 female. Yesterday fell ice skating, landed hard on knee. Since then just a little sore, felt bruised although none visible. Now 24 hrs later very sudden appearance of goose egg swelling on knee. Have ice & ibuprofen. Go to urgent care or wait and see?

The symptoms seem to be related to a bruise due to the injury. I suggest to continue using Ibuprofen 400 mg. I also suggest using ice compresses and rest. The symptoms will go away on its own in a few days.
