Suggest Treatment For Bruise On Foot And Lump Below Knee
Hi, I stepped into a hole in a metal grate where a tree was supposed to be. My right leg had trauma just below the knee, deep lacerations and ruptured blood vessels that drained down to my foot causing black purple brusing. It has been a month since the injury and I still have a very hard lump about the size of a lemon below the knee where the brunt of the impact happened and I still have swelling in my foot. I can t bend my leg all the way and am still experiencing a lot of pain. My concern is the lump below the knee. Any suggestions what it is?

Hello,Thanks for your query. After going through your query I came to know that you got injury to right knee ,right leg. You got lump below knee for which you are worried, it is hematoma. Hematoma gradually resolved by itself. No need to worry it will gradually resolve itself. Thrombophob gel local application three times a day over it(no rubbing) can help in resolving it.
