Suggest Treatment For Bronchitis

I was recently seen by a doctor and diagnosed with bronchitis. I left it untreated for 3 weeks before seeking treatment. I now have a sharp pain in my ribs on my right side right at the bottom of my breast. It hurts when i move, breath too deep, and horribly if i cough or sneeze. It is actually restricting my ability to take normal breaths. Should i be concerned?

You diagnosed as a patient of bronchitis 3 weeks ago and didn't taken the treatment . Now you are feeling pain on the right side on lower part . Pain has restricted your movement and you feel pain even during breathing .
May be due to these possibilities , these include;
1 Pleural effusion , this is most common cause of such symptoms in old bronchitis patient . Diagnosis can be confirmed by X ray chest as well as blood examination for C B C , E S R and sputum examination for AFB ( if present).
2 Consolidation or pneumonitis of the lower lobe of right lung may be the other possibility of such symptoms . Diagnosis can be confirmed by X ray chest.
3 Thickened pleura is the other most common cause of such symptoms .
There are so many other reasons of such symptoms like tuberculosis etc but I recommend you consult PULMONOLOGIST and get his opinion as physical examination is important in this case.
