Suggest Treatment For Bronchitis And Pain In The Ribs
I have bronchitis and I have been coughing a lot Every time I have a cough episode I can t breath for a moment. It s like my throat gets blocked with mocuos. This last time I hurt one of my ribs it feels like it The effort to expulse is greater every time and get exsausted I feel like I m going to stop breathing and die. I don t have asthma, but could I develop it now? Should I go back to the doctor or to ER?
Hello dear I understand your concern Bronchitis CAUSE inflammation of the bronchi in the lungs. Symptoms include coughing up mucus, wheezing, shortness of breath, and chest discomfort. I would suggest to consult the pulmunologist and undergo chest x ray and pulmonary function tests. Doctor will give following advises: Steroid for short term use Salmetrol and ipratropium bromide inhalator Syrup containing bromhexol Tablet ibuprofen for pain steam inhalation and use humidifier Avoid smoking and expose to dust and humid environment Avoid cold beverages, drink plenty of lukewarm water.
