Suggest Treatment For Breathing Difficulty When Suffering From ILD
My father is 75 yr.s and suffering from ILD for last couple of years. he was taking prednisolone 3 caps at a time in the morning alongwith other medicines. He is taking antihypertensive drugs too. Presently he is admitted to a hospital for last 7 days, he is having acute breathing problem and 7 days back his blood pressures were 40/70 mm of Hg. Now doctors are saying no treatment is available,his condition will remain same,however his BP has improved to 70/120.Presently he is taking Amoxycillin+Clavulanic Acid comb. in injectable form and once daily low molecular weight heparin and oxygen with nebuliser.

since ILD is rarely recoverable disease, symptomatic improvement can be done. nebulisation and proper oxygenation is the best symptomatic treatment. disease progression is prevented by prednisolone. so, the treatment which is going on is the best available treatment for the condition. take care for prevention of secondary infection.
