Suggest Treatment For Boil On The Testicles With Pus
I have a testicular boil that has been there for about 8 months... I have had them before and they usually go away... but this one just wont. I dont touch it, but it drains on its own. Over the past 8 months, others have popped up and from reading it looks like it is due to the puss draining and spreading to other parts. It is obviously embarassing, so it is difficult to bring the subject up to a doctor. The doctor I have been seeing and felt very comfortable with left his practice and i cant seem to bring myself to another one. Please help.
Hi. Anything which does not heal within 1 to 3 weeks has to investigated for. From the description you have provided this looks to me a case of a sinus related to the epididymis or a fistula connected to the tunica cavity in which testis is there.
Embarrassing or not you have to consult a Surgeon or a Urologist to get this clinical examined by palpation to see the nature, ultrasonography and related blood investigations . You need a Surgery to get the tract excised , to be sent for histology examination so that an appropriate treatment can be started. There is more chance of this being a tuberculosis as it is there for 8 months.
