Suggest Treatment For Body Ache Without Any Other Symptoms

I have been experiencing body ache that compels me to lay down and rest daily. I don t have the flew or a cold or anything like those. I am wondering since I am aga 61 if I am getting some form of arthritis that creates inflammation and therefor ongoing body ache? I am otherwise healthy. What should I do to eliminate the body ache?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Treatment would depend somewhat on the cause though you can use one of the readily available pain killers such as ibuprofen, cataflam and naproxen.

To determine the cause you may need to consider seeing your doctor for assessment which would include physical examination and blood tests to check for autoimmune types of arthritis eg rheumatoid, lupus

Xrays may also be needed.

I hope this helps
