Suggest Treatment For Blurred Vision And Loss Of Balance

Hi, I went to a theme park yesterday and rode on several rollercoasters with very large twists, turns and drops. I bumped my head slightly during one ride. Yesterday evening I started to feel like I was losing my balance when walking, and my vision became blurred, especially in one eye. I also had double vision when I tried to focus on something up close. Today my vision is a little better and I am not seeing double, although everything is still a bit blurry. I haven t experienced any headaches or nausea, just a slight ache behind my right eye. Should I be worried?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

It would be best to be seen in light of the previous blurred vision, though it has since resolved. It is likely that your assessment may be normal but it should be done to make sure that there are no issues.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Michelle Gibson James,
