General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms of your child seem to be related to a gastroenteritis. I suggest using an over the counter option to treat the diarrhea such as Imodium.

I also suggest to give him daily probiotics and Tylenol for the fever. The blood in stool are usually related to an anal fissure and there is nothing to be worried.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi
