Suggest Treatment For Bloody Nose Discharge And Burning Sensation

In October I was injured at work. I feel on to a steel shaft that was square and spinning. I hit the shaft with the upper mouth. I broke 5 upper teeth, lacerations to my tongue, inside upper lip and lower lip, and outside of my mouth above the upper lip. At least once a day my nose will feel congested in my left nostril. When I blow my nose a small glob of bloody mucus will come out of my left nostril. Then I can breath through my nose but it always leaves almost like a burning sensation once discharged. Is this a cause for concern or is it part of the healing process from the injury?

UHi, I went through your query. It is not normal for your nose to bleed months after your accident. You should undergo a CT scan to check for any undetected fracture and consult an otorhinolaryngologist. When you blow your nose the pressure increases inside your nose and hence the blood and mucus comes out. This indicates active bleeding which must be treated. Hope this helps.
