Hi, I just had blood work on the 10th of Feb at my gen practitioner s office. I visited my cardiologist today and was told the blood test revealed that I had blood in my urine..I feel great but last week started taking Methyl B-12 Lozeges (3,000 MCG) which are cherry in color. Would that cause urine to test red!..Thanks Sherran
Hi Sherran No, the lozenges would not have produced blood in your urine This needs fuller workup since it may indicate either bladder or kidney cancer
