I have gone through very question. You are having a painless fresh bleed that is not mixing with stools? Hemorrhoids is one of the cause for painless fresh bleed. Digital rectal examination and Proctoscopy needs to be done by general surgeon. If he exclude any bleeding hemorrhoids and bleeding continues then colonoscopy will be required for look higher up in the colon for any polyp etc.
