Suggest Treatment For Blood In Stool With White Film

I have been having some bright red blood around my stools and now they have turned green with a little whitish film around the edges. I have no stomach pain, just some discomfort (like hemeroids). I am 64, 126 lbs. and 5'1". I have had no medical problems at this time. I take Metamucil daily and have for a couple of years.
