Suggest Treatment For Blood In Stool With White Film
I have been having some bright red blood around my stools and now they have turned green with a little whitish film around the edges. I have no stomach pain, just some discomfort (like hemeroids). I am 64, 126 lbs. and 5'1". I have had no medical problems at this time. I take Metamucil daily and have for a couple of years.
dear white film in stool is common, but if your observing noticable amount of mucous may be caused by Crohn’s disease, cystic fibrosis ulcerative colitis, irritable bowel syndrome intestinal infection, parasitic infection, malabsorption issues, anal fissures anal fistulas, colorectal cancer etc.. please get stool examination done and get treated accordingly. I think I answered to your question if you have more questions feel free to ask.
