Suggest Treatment For Bleeding From The Nose And Rectal Area

Hi my partner was experiencing bleeding from the back passage as well as his nose.it turned out to be polyps and thay where removed how ever he is having pain in the left side of his stomach feeling like a stitch and eny time he blowed his nose its blood and snotters,he had testiculer cancer more than ten years ago and iam always worrying that it mite be sumthing more complicated wot do you think?

I have read your question in detail and will try to help you in the best way possible.

It can be because of multiple reasons which include serious diseases too. But lets not panic at first and start by knowing more about the problem. Most importantly i would suggest u doing an examination of the nose to see for any visible bleeding site. Color of the stool is important as if there is bright red blood then that means problem in the lower gut most probebly or if its black in color then it would be from upper gut. The next best thing to do would be to do a complete blood count to see for the amount of hemoglobin and platlets number. I would also go for a PT, aPTT and INR test to see if there is any bleeding problem. An abdominal ultrasound to check for liver. If needed then a colonoscopy or endoscopy should also be advised which is inserting a camera on one end of a tube and looking inside through the rectum or mouth into the stomach.
