Suggest Treatment For Bleeding After Taking Birth Control Injection

Hi...I took a birth control injection which lasts for 3 months on August and now it s September and am experiencing bleeding for more than 1 week now. How long is the bleeding going to last? And how do I get it to stop? I also heard taking ibuprofen can stop the bleeding is this true?
