Hi, Im very curious as to why my 8 month old baby has a black tongue, I just noticed it a couple days ago, and im pretty sure I think i seen it once when she was a bit younger. It s not all black, but it s towards the back of her tongues, it almost looks as if she sucked on some black candy.... Im almost certain that she didnt eat anything from the floor either! She has been playing with my oldest childs toys... so maybe from that?? I took a wash cloth and lightly rubbed it on her tongue and it is still there, this will be the 3rd day??? She also has somthing called Layrngomalacia.. I dont know if that would have anything to do with it?? Thanks!
