Suggest Treatment For Biliary Dyskinesia

I ve been having a soft but normal bowel movement in the mornings (first thing) and then after eating or drinking something for breakfast I have a smaller bowel movement that is diarrea. Sometimes I have one or two more during the day, but this past week it s been less. My doctor thinks it is biliary dyskenesia and says most of her patients my age (67) have this and that I have the same symptoms as them. What do you think?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

IBS( irritable bowel syndrome) is a possibility. Biliary dyskinesia is a rare possibility. A colonoscopy can be done to rule out other causes.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
