Suggest Treatment For Benign Cyst In Epiglottis Besides Surgery

Hi,I have fluid filled Benign cyst on my right side ary epiglottis fold due to that my voice became harsh.I have undergone CT scan and doctor suggested me for surgery. The size of cyst is around 33mmx43mm(widthxheight).History is when I was started drinking warm water before 4 months due to excess heat I felt burn in my throat right side. May be that fluid filled cyst is formed by that as I think. Is there any way of treatment for this apart form surgery? If no how much cost It will be for surgery?Any dangerous thing due to this surgery?

Hi,
Welcome to HCM,
Epiglottis cyst is usually benign and the symptoms depend on size and location...The treatment of choice is surgical removal.Even lase can be used which causes less bleeding during surgery and less post operative recovery time..there are no proven non surgical treatments available...and regarding complications bleeding can occur.. but everything goes well nothing to worry...
good luck..
