Suggest Treatment For Badly Scraped Wrist And Deep Wounds

I have a very badly scraped wrist and it has deep wounds with red outline and yellowish green color in the center. It s very sore and burns and stings and had been like this for 6 days w/o any progress except for the swelling has went down but still cant move it to well. Why is this and how can I fix it?

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi.
As per your case history of wrist wound, my treatment advice is -
1. Avoid using soap or apply any antiseptic lotion like Dettol on that part.
2. Apply a mild antibiotic cream like fusiderm cream twice daily on it.
3. Take a NSAID like ibuprofen for pain and levocetrizine for itching.
4. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics like levofloxacin, cefadroxil and azithromycin taken only after consulting a dermatologist.

Thanks.
Dr. Harshit bhachech.
