Suggest Treatment For Back Pain With Frominal Protrusion And Disc Bulge
Hi suffering from Back pain for last couple of years. Doctor suggested to do a MRI. My MRI Report OPINION States Moderated diffuse posterior disc bulge with Focal broad based right forminal protrusion is seen at L4-5 level causing indentation on the thecal sac and the right exiting l4 nerve root. Please can you explain or help, on what should I do...
Hi, The pain is due to impingement of the nerve by a protruded disc at the level of L4; which is supplying your back. The disc normally acts as a shock absorbing gel. It might get protruded out; as in your case and press upon the nerve immediately next to it, which is causing the pain. If the pain is mild, I would suggest you discuss it with your physician and get started on pain medications initially and physiotherapy with Ultrasound and Interferential therapy for a period of a week. This should help with your pain.
