Suggest Treatment For Back Pain Noticed On Lower Left Side
I have back pain, which I thought was caused from lifting weights because I felt severe discomfort seemingly at the upper left side of my upper back. After having severe upper back spasm, the pain has now settled at my lower back and around my waist. I had an MRI done, and the report shows abnormality in the bone marrow. What does this suggest? I know this is probably a broad question. Thanks.
Dear patient Back pain that happens after weight lifting may be due to muscle spasm or disc prolapse or occult vertebral fracture. Do you get only back pain or there is pain in your legs too? If you have only back pain it is mostly due to muscle spasm. I would like to advise you radiograph of lumbosacral spine anteroposterior and lateral views to rule out bony injury. Take diclofenac plus thiocolchicoside combination twice a day for pain relief. Avoid forward bending and heavy weight lifting. Apply diclofenac gel at your back twice a day. Your mri report with bone marrow abnormalities do not point to any diagnosis. What is the status of disc space , vertebra? Please ignore mri and do as I have advised and hope for the best.
