Hi welcome to HCM.
I understand your query and concern.
ASD needs effective management in the form of surgical closure.Associated Pneumonia needs antimicrobial therapy.Associated investigative workup is needed to improve the outcome.
I advise your child to have a baseline 2 dimensional echocardiography,ECG and lipid profile to assess the basic cardiac reserve of your heart.Restrict the intake of salt to less than 6g/day.Drugs like antihypertensives and antiarrhythmics will help in the post operative period.Reduce the intake of fatty and fried food. One pomegranate a day will help to keep your heart at good pace without clot formation. Augpen 150,tazid 250,vita K neocon are very good drugs prescribed in your case.Consult a Cardiologist for further expert management.Post your further queries if any.
Thank you.
