Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am a Army Military Police retiree previously stationed at Ft McClellan from 14 Mar 77 - 10 May 77 and from 7 Jan 91 - 27 Mar 91 for training. I have been diagnosed with Chronic Atopic Dermatitis by a Dermatologist. With the ongoing medical discussions about the toxins at Ft McClellan, is there a possible link to my current medical condition, which I have been plagued with for approximately 35-40 years now?
As a first line management, you can apply low potency steroid creams like betamethasone for symptomatic relief. If the lesion persists, it is better to consult a dermatologist and get evaluated.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
