Suggest Treatment For Atherosclerosis

I have atherosclerosis of aorta. I ve been a vegetarian for about 12 months and have been juicing green veggies for same time period. How soon can I expect my new lifestyle eating changes to have a significant Impact (correcting this disease) to my clogged arteries?

Hello
Welcome to HCM
Thanks for posting your query.I understand your concerns.
Lifestyle modifications like healthy diet, exercise, and no smoking won't remove blockages, but they’re proven to lower the risk of heart attacks and strokes.
I would advice you to taking drugs for high cholesterol like statin group of drugs will slow and perhaps even halt the progression of atherosclerosis, as well as lower your risk of heart attacks and stroke.

If it is severe,Angiography and stenting and Bypass surgery are the other options.

Hope you are satisfied with the answer.

Thank you
