Suggest Treatment For Anxiety

I am 24 years old and I weigh 119 and I suffer from anxiety..mostly with being a hyprocondriacte. For two weeks I have struggled with bloating and indigestion. I am petrified of having heart failure..and I also have a mitral valve prolapse that I do NOT take med s for. Do you think I have anything to be concerned with? I have a appt with my card. But it s in two weeks. HELP! Ps, about 3 years ago I had a stress test, echo, and ultrasound on my heart..and all was in good shape then, minus my valve prolapse. I know I m probably just over reacting, but I can t help but worry.

Dear
Welcome to HCM
We understand your concerns

I went through your details. If you are sure that you have hypochondriasis, called health anxiety or health phobia, then why worry? Bloating and indigestion problems run hand in hand with anxiety. You can try including boiled garlic and ginger with your food for indigestion and acidity problems.

You should have yourself checked for your cardiac and other problems and you should trust your doctor. Trusting your doctor should relieve you of health anxieties. You should also be creative, active and busy, so that unnecessary / obsessive thoughts are averted. You should try psychotherapy for anxiety disorder.

If you require more of my help in this aspect, please use this URL. http://goo.gl/aYW2pR. Make sure that you include every minute details possible.

Hope this answers your query. Available for further clarifications.
Good luck.
