Suggest Treatment For Anxiety With Shortness Of Breath

I get nervous when i have to go to meetings, in elevators, closed in areas, prayer circle, close to people i don't know like sitting next to someone on a airplane or on a bus. My stomach begins to bubble up and make noises. Sometimes I can't even breath in these situations. If I'm praying in the prayer circle I'm ok, but someone else is, thats when I have an issue.

Dear User,
Going by the description of your problems, I would first think of an anxiety disorder, may be panic disorder or agoraphobia. If similar patient walks into my clinic I would prefer using an anti-anxiety medication like Tab. Paroxetine at around 25 mg/day doses and would ask them to see me after 3 weeks.
You may discuss this with your doctor.
