I have taken Buspar, Prozac, and have Xanax on a PRN basis only. A quantity of #60 will last me 3-4 months even though my physician advises me to take them BID. I am a nurse whom does not want to become addicted to a lot of meds, I just want to feel like I used to. I want your opinion on Latuda and getting rid of all the other meds. What do you think? Sara
I went through your details. You are a nurse. You should know that anxiety and depression are mental disorders. Mental disorders are supposed to be treated with medicines and life style changing therapies. Your problem will not be cleared if the underlying anxiety creating problem is still there. Either you have to learn to manage it or remove it altogether. Any amount of medication may not help you in cure. Please continue with the current medicines. Consult a psychologist for Cognitive Behavior Therpy and meditation.
