Suggest Treatment For Annular Tear In The L4/5 Disk Posteriorly

Hi there I have had an MRI wich shows that I have and annular tear in the L4/5 disk posteriorly, left lateral recess stenosis at this level on the traversing left L5 root may be affected, with mild diffuse disk bulging. Also I have a smaller central disk herniation at L5-S1 causing left lateral recess stenosis, the left S1 root may also be affected. Can you tell me what options I have to fix this, if surgery is my best or only option? Thank you in advance

After going through your query I came to know that you are suffering from lumbar disc prolapse. It is already confirmed in your MRI scan. There are two treatment options.First and best option is rest in position of relief(generally lateral position with both knee bend), neurotopics such as mecobalamine and analgesics (Diclofenac three times a day after meals is effective). Sometimes strong analgesic(such as tramadol three times a day after meals) is required. Omeperazole before meals prevent acidity caused by analgesics .This method take longer time and needs patience. Second option is go for surgical operation(Discectomy).
