Suggest Treatment For Alzheimer S Disease

My stepmother appears to be in last stages of Alzheimers, physical symptoms suggestive of CHF with ascites & red swollen ankles. She still knows my father & asks for help to bathroom, making some of her needs known. She is receiving care from Hospice in the home. Are her organs starting to fail?

Hi, dear.
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. But at this age there should be some organ failure. She already have CHF. She should also investigate for liver and kidney disease. Definite therapy will not work . You should take just symptomatic treatment and treat heart disease.
Consult your doctor and take treatment accordingly.
Hope I have answered your question, if you have doubt then I will be happy to answer. Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
I find this answer helpful
