I came down with the flu , I think, 6 days ago. Fever up to 102, aches, chills, diarrhea then later a congested cough I have stayed hydrated and slept alot I took Tylenol for a couple of days but it made me feel nauseous. My fever is down to 99 but I have lost the sense of taste and smell. Is this normal?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

A sense of taste is a must for proper taste perception. Nasal blockage or congestion can lead to taste alterations.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
