Hello
Since you know the diagnosis ( as you mentioned in the query )that you are having allergic rhinitis and montair lc ( montelukast+levoceterizine helps ) .
As these both drugs are potent anti allergic ( antihistamine ).
This is very difficult to cure completely ( allergic rhinitis ) but with these measures you will get some relief.
The first step to symptom control in allergic rhinitis is identification & avoidance of trigger factors.
. Elimination of the allergen results in diminished severity of the disease & decreased requirement for medications.
Identifying specific casual allergens by lab testing may encourage to comply w/allergen avoidance instructions.
These are most probable factors responsible for allergy:
Dust , mite, pollen , pests ( cockroaches ) , fumes , sprays , smoking ( active & passive ), sudden increase or decrease in temperature .
Use dehumidifier in room or air conditioning in bed room.
Also use bed cover on quilt and mattresses .
Steam inhalation also helps .
Tepid water provide relief.
Coffee ( hot ) also help.
But , whenever you feel allergy , should tale montelukast+fexofendine once in the night .
Consult one allergy specialist and get in all tests for allergy and take care about various avoidance.
Good luck.
