Suggest Treatment For Aggressive Behaviour In A Child

My 5 year old grandson has become very violent toward us. He has always been hard to handle but he has started hitting kicking and yelling at the top of his lungs at us. He is a big boy 100% on his height and 95% on his weight. he weighs 70 lbs so very hard for me to control I have tried talking to him giving him time out swatting his behind nothing works tonight he went to the bathroom on my floor on purpose. after he has his fit he then says he does not know what is wrong and says he is sorry how do we get him under control when he is with others he is a good kid. Also his mother left back on April but he says he does not want to see her but does see her once a month please help

Hi, thanks for asking.
In my opinion your grand child may be having oppositional defiance disorder. Using rewards and consequences may work for him. I would suggest you start psychological counselling for him. He may require some medications for his rage also.
I hope I have helped you
Thank you
