General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The adenoid cystic carcinoma of the ovary is a slow-growing tumor. The prognosis is good in such a case.

However, if metastasis develops than prognosis can be poor. A PET scan can be done to check metastasis. You can revert back with reports once done to discuss further.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Parth Goswami, General & Family Physician
