Suggest Treatment For Acne On Forehead Despite Medication
Hi I have had the same issues that I ve read here regarding Vyvanse. However, mine is strictly Acne, and mostly bumps over my forehead. I stopped treatment several months ago and still have the issue. I ve tried several treatments for it from tretinoin, to clindamycin and even doxycycline and nothing has stopped it. I tried a chemical peel and it really didn t do anything. I use aqua glycolic skin care system for my skin and moisturize with clarins moisture balm for men. starting to feel desperate here for help.

Understanding your concern. As per you query you have symptoms of acne on forehead despite medication which is because of sebaceous gland under the hair follicle , when sebum get accumulated in clogged duct of sebaceous gland along with dead skin and bacteria they produce acne. I would suggest you to wash you face 2-3 times a day with mild soap and warm water to prevent the accumulation of oil ,dust and bacteria on your face. Apply vitamin E oil at night. If acne still persists consult dermatologist for proper examination. Doctor may prescribe ointments containing benzyol peroxide,azelaic acid or retinoids. Sometimes doctor may also prescribe antibiotics. Avoid greasy creams ,use water based products. Don't pick or touch acne. Apply kojic acid cream on face.
