Suggest Treatment For Acidity And Pain In Upper Stomach

hello doctor , I m 46 year old lady , just now I have gone through severe acidity and pain near upper stomach , and first time B.P gone upto 150-100 , I want to ask whether I should continue the B.P. TABLET
losar H (50mg) or it also increase my acidity, and can I take losar H on alternate day

Hello
You are taking losartan H ( hydrochlorothiazide )for high blood pressure . You are also having hyper acidity and pain in stomach.
Since losartanH causes dizziness but also causes nausea , vomiting ( hydrocholothizide is responsible for nausea and vomiting).
If your blood pressure is within normal range on alternate use of losartan then you can do this .
But control of blood pressure is important in your case.
So take pantoprazole -d 2-3 hours before or after your losartan tablet .
If you will take concomitantly then losartan will require in higher doses .
Also , take some antacid for your stomach pain.
Avoid greasy , fried , spicy foods as this will help in hyper acidity.
Still no relief then consult your physician and get his opinion.
