Hi. About 5 days ago,I scraped my foot against the base of a metal chair that was evidently rusted at the bottom. The wound appeared to be quite shallow, like an abrasion, due to which I didn t find the need to worry about a tetanus booster dose. I however have been reading that the bacteria could enter even with a break in the skin. Is there a possibility that I could be at risk of getting tetanus?
