Hi,I am Dr. Radhakrishna (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I went to the ER yesterday due to abdominal pain. Had tests run and nothing was glaringly obvious to be wrong. My liver enzymes were elevated. AST was 212 and ALT was 142. CT scan showed no problems. What could be going on? I do feel better now. Also, I had my gallbladder removed laparoscopically in Feb.
Hi, thanks for posting your concern in the HCM. I think further tests are needed to rule out hepatitis: Anti HAV HBsAg Anti HCV. Some other tests can also be done Complete blood count. Amylase, lipase USG whole abdomen. For any further questions, please write back. Regards, Dr. Kaushik
