Suggest Treatment For Abdominal Pain And Loss Of Appetite

I have been suffering from abdominal pain, swelling and loss of appetite. I have been sweating a lot also. I was diagnosed with gall stones after a trip to emergency dept. I was there again last night with same issues and, tonight the abdominal pain and swelling has returned. Could this be something other than gallstones. I have been on long term ceftrioxone for Lyme disease treatment. Could that be causing my stomach issues?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Gall stone pain usually occurs at right side of abdomen. Kindly mention site of your abdominal pain. If you have associated leg sided pain at upper part of abdomen than stomach inflammation like gastritis can be possibility. For that antacid course can be prescribed.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami,
