Suggest Treatment For Abdominal Pain And Constipation
Hi Ive been to both the hospital and the doctors numerous times, I have what appears to be spasms in my right side back under my ribs ( Ultrasound and Liver tests normal, no gallstones, liver was ok and pancreas appeared ok too). The hospital think I have a duodenal ulcer which I take 60 mg of Lanzoprasole for which I stopped recently and within 36 hrs the burning was back. I have right side abdominal pain and upper abdominal pain stretching to the right with spasms at times. I have excessive wind burping mainly and am having problems with the toilet sometimes constipation sometimes diarrhea. However I don't get diarrhea much ( 3 occasions since last october). My bloods are all normal

HI. undergone through the history you have provided, albeit a complex one.
The ultrasound is normal. You are taking Lansoprazole- burning pain- constipation- Spams sometimes... Right sided ..
I would advise such a patient to undergo upper and lower GI endoscopies to see what is exactly the problem.. A proper diagnosis can lead to a proper treatment.
Repeat ultrasonography as sometimes one would miss a few things due to less obvious pathology to be undertaken in ultrasonography and may become obvious now.
I would advise you to take a laxative, high fiber diet, Tablet Domperidone 10 my 8 hourly, avoid all such food and beverages that increase the problem.
Sometimes a good soap water enema helps a lot as the large bowel is cleared , the intestinal habits normalize faster and better.
