Suggest Treatment For Abdomen Pain At The Right Upper Part
Hi, Doc; I m a 44 years old Hispanic male with Diabetes Type II. Last Sunday, I experience an abdominal pain coming from the right upper part of my abdomen. This happened after one and half hour of eating. This is the first time I ever experienced. Next Monday during my lunch break had another painful abdominal episode. I decided to go to an urgent care and get treatment for it. The doctor order an ultrasound to see if I had a gall blader swelling or gall stones. The results came back with no signs of gall blader swelling or gall stones. The doctor prescribed Hydrocodone/Acetaminophen 7.5-325.Today I met with my doctor and decided to do some blood work with possibility to order a mass scan.My doctor also prescribed HYOSCYAMINE 0.125mg and Omeprazole Delayed-Release capsules 20mg.
Hi Commen cause for Abdominal pain in rt upper quadrant are gall bladder stone, renal stone, liver congestion due to any cause, rt sided pleural effusion. Simple intestinal colic also can present like this. As USG is normal, gall bladder and liver disease are somewhat excluded But a small kidney stone can be missed in USG very often The drugs you have mentioned will definitely help you for symptomatic improvement. Avoid gastritis causing food , and do drink plenty of water If symptoms persists, go for further work up. Thank you
