Hello,

I can understand your concern for abscess next to naval. I can get that the area is quite infected and requires antibiotic treatment. In all your kind of cases I generally give a course of oral antibiotic such as cefixime with clavulinic acid or an antibiotic with culture and sensitivity of the pus.

I suggest you to meet a surgeon preferably or dermatologist to get the antibiotics prescribed. A pain killer tablet will help you a lot in reducing the inflammation. You can take further guidance from a dermatologist.
Take care.
