Suggest Treatment For A Tumor In The Throat
Hi Doctor,I have a friend whose mother is elderly,not sure how old who is in the hospital not doing good at all. They ran tests and found she has a tumor in her throat,which not sure what exactly it is but what s happening is that EVERYTHING she drinks goes into her LUNGS and is clogging them up,what on earth kind of cancer if it is is this? They haven t told her son NOTHING and he s the caregiver for her. I am a CNA and I want to be able to tell im something that hopefully will help him deal better with this. When a person can not swallow anything and aspirates on swallowing, the most probable cancer can be at the upper esophagus- common in females, or can be be of the epiglottis.
Get a biopsy report and consult an Oncologist ASAP for further care and treatment,
