Suggest Treatment For A Toe Injury

last week I dropped the love seat on my big toe, at the time I had an ingrown toenail there too. my toe popped like a grape an had hurt so badly, tonight my toe nail was coming off so I helped it along... using lots of peroxide and triple antibiotic ointment... my ? is now that its gone do I dress my toe or what is the best advice to protect it... also will my nail grow back??

It is important to keep the area clean and avoid infection,cleaning it with the peroxide and triple antibiotics. You can keep it open while you are home and cover it if getting out,mostly to protect the area from another local trauma.The nail will grow back, it takes some time,average of 12 weeks ,but will grow.
