Suggest Treatment For A Tibia Fracture

On the 18 of march i had a skiing accident and had a non displaced tibial fracture, on march 30th i seen the ortho and still no displacement..he told me to use crutched but can seem to figire them out so im using a cane..will it slow my healing process? Also for the last day or so i am feeling pains spasms in my leg, is rhis normal?

I read your question and understood your concern.
I think you should use 2 crutches and not a cane as it may displace the fracture.
Depending on your age the time of healing of a tibia fracture varies from 3 month to 4 months.
You can start oartial weight bearing after 8 weeks from the time of fracture.
