Suggest Treatment For A Tear In Mouth

Hello. I have small tears at the corners of my mouth for about a month or so now. They came after using a prescribed skin ointment. They heal after using soothing lotions like cera ve and vitamin e oil. but once they heal the come right back. if I open my mouth to wide... the skin tears, then it s back to square one. it takes about 1.5- 2 weeks to heal them completely. What should I do? I use this new ointment to remedy by cystic acne. I don t want to stop it. Do you think it is related?

Hi. Recurrent angular cheilitis may be troublesome at times. It could happen in iron and/or vitamin B complex deficiency. Take Vitamin B complex supplementation for couple of days. Other causes include candidiasis, unusual apposition of lips (?due to poor dentures or lax muscles) etc. Hope it answers your queries
