Suggest Treatment For A Scar Tissue On Inside Of Mouth

Hello, about 5 years ago I was struck in the mouth with a golf club leaving undeseriable scar tissue on my lip. Two years ago I got some of the scar tissue removed. But now it s been feeling like it s been getting bigger again. It doesn t hurt but I m curious whether I have to repeat the same process or if I m going to have to keep repeating the same process. Thank you!

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you scar tissue inside mouth could be due due to injury from golf club . Well as you mention that injury occurred 5 year ago so it is a very mature injury and need a specialist . I would suggest you to consult a plastic surgeon for proper diagnosis . Doctor may order certain tests like biopsy . Doctor may recommend dermabrassion , laser therapy or surgical option depending upon diagnosis . For now do not touch or pick the tissue scar and apply cold compresses on it . Also apply hone and turmeric powder paste on tin at night .
