Suggest Treatment For A Red Painful Lump On The Belly Button

My belly button is swollen and there is a small hard lump under the skin. It is painful and red. I was initially worried that I might have a hernia, but then thought it could be chaffing. I am a carpenter and had just finished a job where I was sweating heavily and bent over all day. What would explain this?

Treatment-
Don't be anxious and panicky.
You seem to have boil of the belly button,as it with pain and redness.But it could also be tense umbilical hernia,which could be painful and red due to stretching.
I would advise you to cool down and wait till you consult with ER Surgeon ,which would fix the cause and treat for your belly button lump.
