Suggest Treatment For A Rash On The Left Ankle

After flying a short 1 hour distance I noticed I had rash on the inside of my left ankle at the hotel. When I came back next day my ankles were swollen. Swelling has gone down but the rash on the left ankle is still there. Is this symptom of a health condition? Should an hour to and an hour back flight be able to cause this?

Do you have Diabetes or any other chronic illness? In Diabetes, keeping the legs in a dependent position for long can lead to swelling. The rash in all probability is an allergic reaction to possibly the synthetic socks you may have been wearing. Cotton socks do not cause an allergy. Both these problems should get resolved within 3 to 5 days without any medication.
