I had a fall. Horse fell on me and I hot my head. Since then what I think is my larynx has been affected. For 5 days I had a hoarse voice which has slowly i!mproved. But swallowing still hurts in a specific area of the throat. Any good or drink that isn t bland hurts even more. I am concerned about a fractured !arynx? I have to fly soon and I have seen two doctors this week about this and trying to see an ENT doc.

Hi,
Welcome to healthcare magic.
I had gone through your question.
I can understand your concern.
Discomfort while swallowing could be trauma. You need a CT scan of neck for evaluation.
Consult an ENT doctor for through clinical examination and scan.
Take analgesic like tablet paracetamol for pain relief.
You will be fine.
Hope I have answered your question. If you have any questions, I am happy to help.
Wish you a good health and speedy recovery.
